POLIS Is A Great Sci-Fi Short Film That Deserves A Full Featured Movie

Everything about POLIS shouts very well done; from the VFX to the story idea to the acting. It is also one of those short films that I think deserve to be the starting ground for a full featured movie treatment.

The short film, which is written by Daniel Perea and directed by Steven Ilous, is set in our distant future where the short’s main character David Porter, a young telepath is on the hunt for his mother. Here is the brief synopsis from its Vimeo page:

Set in the distant future, POLIS is a sci-fi thriller about David Porter, a young telepath whose search for his mother threatens to uncover a utopian society’s horrifying secrets.
